Did you know that the U.S. government has a $79 billion IT budget? This makes it one of the largest consumers of products and services in the world. And, with over 4.2 million federal employees, there’s an enormous demand for the best available technology. As you can imagine, with that many employees and that much budget the process for getting a government contract is difficult to navigate.
That’s why Cyara recently signed a partner referral agreement with Dcode42, a company that specializes in helping technology companies break into the government market. Dcode42, introduces technology companies to potential suitable opportunities. Dcode42’s goal is to make sure that new and innovative technologies get the opportunity to be evaluated.
Some of the benefits of partnering with Dcode42 include:
- Providing access to a network of potential partners and customers
- Providing mentorship on the government procurement process
- Hands-on strategic planning for navigating opportunities
- One-on-one sessions with government experts
- Expert guidance based on a history of successful contracts
Last month, Cyara attended and exhibited at Power Week, Dcode42’s annual business development and networking event in Washington, D.C. This event was made up of three jam-packed days of “speed dating” like company pitches and demos to targeted prospects from the Department of Defense, executive-level federal employees, and large government contractors like Deloitte Federal and General Dynamics IT. And, there was plenty of time to get to know one another, otherwise know as networking.
It’s been an interesting experience so far. And, it’s definitely a learning experience to navigate the maze of government rules and regulations to find new opportunities for Cyara..
